Firestop AK-312 Cable Coating Compound

Description

The Firestop® AK-312 Cable Coating Compound is a heavy-duty, water-based fire-retardant coating designed to prevent the spread of fire along single or grouped power and communication cables.

✅ Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, it offers excellent UV and weather resistance while remaining non-toxic, halogen-free, and asbestos-free.

With a high limiting oxygen index of ≥65% and a proven service life of over 40 years, this coating provides long-term protection without reducing cable ampacity. Firestop® AK-312 is easy to apply by brush or sprayer, dries quickly, and has been tested and approved under multiple international standards, making it a reliable choice for industrial and utility cable fire protection.

Retrofitting	New Cables can be placed along with coated cables, keeping in mind that coated cables must not be damaged, after retrofitting new cables & old damaged coatings (if any) must be applied with Cable Coating Compound.
Thinner	No thinning required, however if required water can be added for thinning purpose.
